Welcome to Concord International Elementary School’s Music website!  Here you can find information about our K-5 music classes, hear student recordings, and stay up to date on our performances.

En Concord, creemos que la música puede abrir todo un mundo a los jóvenes estudiantes. Los estudiantes reciben “las herramientas para expresarse y sus ideas, y medios creativos para compartir sus puntos de vista con el mundo”. En la clase de música, nos unimos para cantar, bailar, crear, celebrar y realzar nuestros espíritus y mentes. Los estudiantes aprenden a tocar una variedad de instrumentos como el xilófono, boomwhackers, djembe, tubanos, bongos, agitadores, ukelele y mucho más.

At Concord, we believe that music can open up a whole world to young learners. Students are being given “the tools to express themselves and their ideas, and creative outlets to share their viewpoints with the world.” In music class, we come together to sing, dance, create, celebrate and enhance our spirits and minds.  Students learn to play a variety of instruments such as the xylophone, boomwhackers, djembe, tubanos, bongos, shakers, ukulele, and much more.

Nuestros estudiantes son de todos partes del mundo y nuestra música coincide con esa realidad. Creamos música que representa quiénes somos. Las presentaciones incluyen música de todo el mundo. Somos una escuela bilingüe de inglés y español, y la música nos brinda la oportunidad de expandirnos más allá y cantar canciones en una variedad de idiomas.

Hacer música en conjunto nos acerca más como comunidad. ¡Nos alegra que estén aquí con nosotros!

Our students are from all across the world and our music matches that reality. We create music that represents who we are.  Performances include music from all around the world.  While we are a dual language in English and Spanish, music gives us the opportunity to expand beyond that and sing songs in a variety of different languages.

Making music together brings us closer as a community.  We are glad you are here with us!
